Our nurseries are spaces where children can play, learn and grow in a healthy, natural environment. Each child is valued as a unique individual, developing confidence, independence and well-being through magic, curiosity and discovery.  

The Old School Nursery was established in 1989 in an old Victorian infant school and steeped in history and a maze of wonderful light filled rooms. The space has allowed us to design four unique environments to give the children very the best experiences and start in life.

Our garden is well placed for all weather play with a large tree coverage to offer shelter come both rain or shine. A large fire pit, forest school room, art and music station, large sandpit and mud kitchen, water station, growing garden, and the play park alongside allows us to offer a full and varied outdoor experience. Local woodlands and natural areas around us are viewed as an extension to our nursery and learning environments, and are home to our weekly Forest School, that we run throughout the year come rain or shine!  We embrace our local environment and are very fortunate to have so many facilities within walking distance of the nursery.  

We welcome children from 18 months of age but younger children can attend Ascot Day nursery and feed on to us any time from 2 years of age.

Opening Times

We are open from 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday throughout the year with the exception of bank holidays and the week between Christmas and new year.
